Flowers Rot When Not Being Nurtured

His grandmother's question the other morning made Asher realize that it was really a sense of emptiness that haunted him.

It was something that he didn't want to admit but, her next words defeated him.

"Only yourself know what are you feeling now. How much longer do you plan to resist? Asher, your old grandma here doesn't want to force you on anything, but... the way you live saddens me. Can't you be true to yourself?"

All this time, Asher simply ignored what Old Madam Shen often advised him. He was good at filtering out what he didn't want to follow.

Yet, not this time. Even if he wanted to, those words kept stirring his heart.

The irritation that plagued him since before exploded like hot lava the moment he saw her alone with another man, out of a hotel room.

Her absence... affected him.
