What happened to Nancy caught Liliana off guard. She never expected that Gilbert would retaliate. Not when his reputation was on the line.

After that night at Queen's Crown Hotel, Gilbert did try to get Nancy to delete the humiliating video clips. He was also enraged because nasty 'suitors' were looking for him because of what Nancy did at the anonymous dating site.

But, Gilbert didn't push too far. He was quick to admit defeat.

Gilbert understood that his life would be over if Nancy released the clips showing he was high with naked men around him. She also had evidence of him cheating and scamming her money.
