But there's someone that wasn't happy with this new development. Asher reappeared, his frosty cold mask was replaced with deep regret and longing.

"I was wrong. Please, come back! I'll do anything!"

Liliana scoffed, turning her back on her first love. She won't repeat the same mistake of loving him ever again.

Sitting inside the VIP lounge of the Shen Corporation, Thomas tried to stop being fidgety. He was not in a good state after losing sleep for a few days all because of Asher suddenly striking the Xin Group.

He was the man of his word. Thomas had always known that but, he didn't expect that Asher would really pull up such a stunt over a measly matter.

The Xin Group was in chaos for the past few days.

Thomas tried to set a meeting with Asher but, he had been repeatedly refused by the younger man's chief assistant. Every phone call made to Asher's personal number also always got rejected.

Thomas was really on his wit's end. He tried forcing Deanna to go meet Liliana and apologize for her misdeed but, his second daughter was still stubborn despite she knew the negative impact the company was facing now.
