On Monday morning, Lucas made sure he had everything ready before he left for Pelican Bay.
Aside from that, Lucas also gave some instructions to Nancy and Edith about the new yuzu mousse cake, telling them that it was open for bookings if the customers wished for that. Yet, he limited it to a number per week.
Right now, it was a quarter past seven. Customers had started flocking in to get their freshly brewed coffee together with bagels or sandwiches to accompany their morning rides.
"The cake looks so pretty in light yellow glaze," Nancy commented on the cake's outer appearance, "The decorations on top are simple. Is this what people called being minimalist?"
"Maybe?" Lucas shrugged, his lips curved into a smile, "Take the already cut one in the fridge if you guys want to try it. It's on the second shelf from the top."
While saying so, Lucas pointed a finger at one of the refrigerators inside the baking kitchen.
