The Warmth Disappeared Like Bubbles In The Ocean

A flock of pelicans flew right above the family of three, flapping their winds rigorously. Their cries echoed loudly in the sky, drowning the sound of the waves gently hitting the shore.

But, none of those affected the shock that caught Lucas and Kevin off guard. Their eyes were wide open, staring at the same person, their mother.

Linda didn't care about the look on Kevin's face. Her eyes were only fixated on her eldest son.

The change in Lucas' expression irked Linda. She thought he would remain impassive as earlier. It seemed like he couldn't fake his indifference at her anymore.

Linda snarled, suppressing her wrath from overtaking her whole sanity. She let out more words, each of her words was coated in venom.

"I already know. Your father has a mistress. Happy, now?"

Lucas and Kevin blinked. They looked at one another, their minds were still processing the confession they heard from their mother.

This was too unforeseeable!
