Liliana's words incited laughter from Lucas who was opening a can of beer. He handed it to her.

"Your pastry chef here won't be too drunk. I still need to wake up early to prepare tomorrow's fresh bread," replied Lucas with a wink.

After buying some drinks and also snacks from the convenience store, the two of them forwent the option of going inside the cafe. Instead, they sat in the middle of the staircase leading up to the apartment.

The bag of chilled drinks and snacks was placed in between them.

Right now, the others were busy attending to the patrons. The situation was manageable with everyone's cooperation.

Liliana threw her glance around the backyard of the cafe. The sun was already replaced by the moon. The stars were faintly twinkling in the night sky.
