How Absurd Was This?

Liliana could see how differently the way she wrote in her diaries compared to Cassia's. She tended to be emotional while her mother was usually brief and concise. Yet, the latter didn't forget the write the important parts.

"How hopeless... Mom actually felt?"

Through the diaries, even though Cassia finally accepted Thomas' proposal and got married to him, she still thought that they would be separated sooner or later.

It was as if she tried to cling to a dream but, continued to be afraid of falling down.

Following the entry where Cassia wrote about her divorce from Thomas, there were still a few mentions of him again. Yet, none of them indicated she tried to get back with him.

As usual, I went to the check-up alone. The new nurse asked about my husband. I feel bad making her apologize when I told her the truth.
