I Feel So Stupid Now

Edgar excused himself to the restroom. He wanted to tidy himself up before heading to the cinema with Nadia.

"We're late for the screentime. I'll book the next one. Is that okay, Miss Lin?"

Edgar threw those words to Nadia as he stood up from the seat.

"If you're busy... we can watch it some other time," said Nadia as she went against what was actually in her heart.

"No, we still have to go," responded Edgar with a shake of his head. Then, he hurried to the cafe's restroom.

Being left at the table, Nadia couldn't take her eyes away from Edgar's disappearing back. Her lips instantly curled up, her eyes sparkled in delight.

He was here!

Nadia's wilting hope suddenly rose high once again. She was happy because Edgar didn't actually forget about their date. He also was not reluctant about it.
