Thwarted His Plan To Interrogate Her

"Talia, don't stop me if I hit your dad with a cane next," said Old Master Ding out of a sudden while walking down the hallways with his granddaughters.

Talia squinted her eyes, "Don't worry, Grandpa. Just do it. I'm upset with Dad too."

Liliana didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She was amused by their conversation.

From the moment the three of them walked out of the Chrysanthemum Room, Old Master Ding and Talia voiced out their discontent toward Alexander. It was so clear how dissatisfied they were with how Alexander reacted toward Liliana earlier.

"Your father... is something else. But, still better than mine," replied Liliana after a moment of thinking.

Old Master Ding scoffed while Talia rolled her eyes. Liliana held back from laughing.

Soon, they reached Old Master Ding's bedroom on the first floor. He planned to get some rest before dinner time. Liliana helped the old man sit on the bed.
