Cassia woke up when it was nearly six in the evening. She appeared to be in a better mood as she kept smiling albeit faintly.

Liliana stayed by her mother's side as she promised. She assisted Cassia in eating some time later. Mrs. Sui who had just come taught her how to feed her mother.

While feeding Cassia the fragrant porridge, Liliana talked about her life.

She only told her mother about the good parts, including her apartment and cafe. She had yet to mention that she used to get married and divorced early this year.

"One of my cooks, Mrs. Fu really makes delicious home-cooked meals. I remember yours whenever I eat her food."

Liliana put back the spoon into the bowl. She grabbed a tissue and wiped Cassia's mouth. Her movement was careful and gentle.

"I haven't cooked much ever since I employed Mrs. Fu. Maybe I should ask her if she has good recipes for various kinds of porridges and soups. I'll make them for you, Mom."
