Before Flying To The South

"Mom, there's a leaf on your head."

"...en?"

Chuckling, Liliana stopped pushing Cassia's wheelchair. She reached out to the leaf sticking to her mother's short low ponytail. Showing it to her mother, she giggled softly.

"The leaf's still green. I hope it'll turn red soon."

Cassia curved up her lips. She slowly lifted up one hand before taking the leaf from her daughter. Even though her weak muscles still restrained her, she could already do a few simple movements.

"We will see... red maple and yellow... ginkgo leaves soon."

Liliana's gaze on Cassia brimming with affection. Lowering her upper body, she hugged her mother's neck from behind.

"Let's visit some places later, en? Grandpa wants to go follow us too."

When Liliana brought up the idea in front of Old Master Ding, he quickly said that he wanted to join her. He hadn't visited the country much after his sudden return the other day.
