The Teen's Dilemma Reminded Him Of His Own

<.Springfield Town, a few hours ago.>

"Honeypuff, we're here!"

"Meow~"

Lucas got off his bike. After taking a paper bag out of the top-box, he stored the helmet inside. Honeypuff was sitting obediently inside the carrier backpack, looking at the rundown apartment building.

"Let's go. Harris and Mrs. Fu are waiting for us."

Lucas perceived how happy his tone was. He smiled sheepishly, thinking how childish he sounded. But, that was his true feeling right now. He quickly climbed the stairs, heading to the Fu family's apartment.

A small scene that happened a few days ago resurfaced in Lucas' mind.

When he was busy in the baking kitchen, Harris came looking for Lucas. The former's countenance expressed his joy.

"Brother Lucas! Come and have dinner with us!"

Harris' sudden invitation confused Lucas. He needed to pause what he was doing before asking the teenager to explain further.
