After ending the call with Liliana, Lucas's soft smile lingered a few more seconds until a scream pierced through his peace. The shout came from the outside of the room he was currently in.

Exhaling a deep sigh, Lucas slipped the phone into the pocket of his jacket. He ran a palm through his dark hair, slightly tousling its locks.

He really didn't want to go out yet.

Ding!

Lucas' attention was pulled by the new message. Taking the phone out again, he was half-hoping that it came from Liliana yet, the sender was someone else.

"Kevin? Did something happen?"

If there was an urgent matter, Kevin wouldn't simply send him a text. With a tap on the screen, the message was displayed on the screen.

[Kevin: Aunt Ji's son told me! Are you okay?]

[Kevin: I wanna call you but, worry you're busy]

[Kevin: Reply to me once everything's settled]
