Chapter 71: Tagging Along

For the duration of the flight, all Carissa could think about was sharing a single-bedroom cabin with Bradley for the weekend. While she'd hoped, and planned, to take their relationship much further, she wanted things to happen naturally and not because they were forced to share a bed.

She twisted around in her seat to glance at Bradley, who was near a sealed door at the far end of the plane. Where did that door lead? She'd been on a private jet before, but never one as large as this one. She always thought her family had more money than they needed, but now she was beginning to think Bradley and his family had even more.

"Alright, thank you for your help," Bradley said as he strode back toward her. He ended the call he'd been on and clutched his cell phone in his hand. Then he eased around her and reclaimed his seat. "So, do you want the good news or the bad news first?"

She groaned. "Give me the bad first."
