The man rolled on the ground, squirming in agony, screaming in the top of his lungs. 

Rin didn't wait ceremoniously, shot with his sword, aiming for the man's head. Well, even if he left the man alone, he wouldn't be able to come after them, but his screaming already alerted all his companions in the vicinity. 

Ulysses pinned the sword into the man's head and felt a twist in his stomach. He certainly wasn't going to have a good night of sleep after this.

Rin withdrew as fast as he could since before he killed the man—he screamed loud enough for others to be alert. Fortunately, he got enough time to distance himself, though this incident made their enemies wary. 

They were dilly-dallying before, but now more solid and stoic.

Elise took the same direction to escape as his, as both of them crept side by side in the obscurity of night. Meanwhile, Luke was on the other way, after being done with his enemy.
