When she wakes up in an unknown room she is far from happy. The fact she finds herself surrounded by unknown males that are not human set her on edge. When it comes down to her discomfort and the death of her people she will do her duty as Princess even if she has ran from most of those duties.

I do not know how long I spent inside that room with all of them. What I did know is when the bleeding and pain stopped. When I woke up I found them all in the room willing and ready for me to decide who was next. "I need food," I said as I stood up and pulled a long dress from storage. This one was black and a halter top. It would do. The Vuldroi were quick to cover themselves while the others simply followed me out.

I let my sense of smell lead me to the food. As soon as I walked in all conversation stopped. Most of the tables had males around them although almost none of them were eating. My eyes moved around the room. Where was the smell coming from if not people eating?

"Princess," Conta asked as he moved towards me. I noticed a few others. Likely more diplomats. "Is something wrong?"
