Villain Ch 1672. I'll Take The Responsibility
Allen let out a noise that was somewhere between a sigh and a growl.
The kind of sound that said 'I give up, but I'm taking all of you down with me.'
He dragged his palm down his face, took a long breath, and finally said it. The sentence that would seal his fate with both dread and inevitability.
"Fine. How about this—" his voice was flat, tired, dangerous. "I'll book a hotel room for all of us. Tonight. A suite. I'll take the responsibility."
A sharp silence followed. Just for a second.
And then—
A voice, low and melodic, sliced through it like silk and seafoam.
"How about my place?"
Allen blinked.
He turned toward the voice like a man checking if the reaper was behind him.
And there she stood.
Shea.
