The Orphanage

Logan's expression didn't change, but his eyes seemed to flash with anger at Nicklaus's words. "You're not responsible?" he repeated, his voice low and menacing. "You're not responsible for the fact that your associate blew up my mansion, killing everyone I loved?"

Nicklaus's gaze didn't waver, but his eyes seemed to cloud over for a moment. "I'm sorry, Logan," he said again, his voice firm but laced with a hint of regret. "But I didn't order Adam to do that. And even if I had, you know as well as I do that he was a wild card. Unpredictable and unreliable."

Logan's face twisted into a snarl, his burned skin pulling taut over his cheekbones. "You're just trying to deflect responsibility," he spat, his voice venomous. "But its way past that, Nicklaus. You're going to pay for what happened to my family."

Logan regretted not being able to take his revenge on Adams and Arissa's father himself.
