The sensation was like a click for Ryan, who turned around at the same instant. The cube was there, standing between two iron pillars that kept it loaded. The discomfort Ryan felt in his chest was a little less than when he saw that cube in the sand, still, this was far from a pleasurable experience.

Another Aether emerged, standing next to the frightened one. Turning to Ryan, he said.

"I helped set up the portal devourer, now I need your help to stop it."

Ryan crossed both arms, and walking around the iron pillars, he went about assessing how that mechanism worked. Carefully, he walked past the cables, as he assessed that machine.

"Ah..." He said, as he looked at the back of it. As that was a memory of Aether, part of the mechanism was completely blackened, as the blond had not observed it.
