By the time Ryan and Viper had finished eating, the sun was beginning to set. In front of the carriage, he refused to get in "I have some things to do, I'll be returning to the fortress soon," he said.
The green-haired woman was confused as to what this meant, but without question she just nodded. The two of them then went their separate ways, Ryan starting to walk through the flowery fields while listening to the sound of horses walking on the opposite side.
"The crops have an interesting flow of mana, it really gives you a feeling of lightness," he said, as he knelt down. Carefully touching one of the flowers, he removed it and brought it to his nose. The scent was sweet and delicate, but what caught his attention most was the invigorating sensation his lungs were feeling. It was as if he was refreshed by contact with that scent.
