Wissestein had a different type of defense from the rest of the fortresses. While Pthonia and Berohog depended solely and exclusively on their generals staying, Wissestein was a much better planned city.

For a start, there wasn't a gigantic castle in the center where the focus of the attack would be. None of the girls really knew where Sloth's base would be.

Until then, Ryan hadn't explored or observed the architecture of Wissestein. However, with Gluttony's help, they managed to recreate a 3D map of all the buildings in the city.

While Alterhein functioned by means of bridges and Berohog functioned by means of walls, Wissestein was a floating city. Most of the city's districts were on different layers, each at a different altitude. Using wind magic and a system of gears, the city had four different floors.
