The leader's decision

"And what do you think of your little brother's actions, Eva Sinclair?" The leader, Dustin Juccon, asked her with a stern voice.

Eva felt a wave of fear wash over her as she stood in front of him, unsure of how to answer. 

She knew that no matter what she said, they would not believe her. Even her childhood friend, Karl, had doubted her.

She thought that maybe, just maybe, she could get a second chance to convince her little brother to stop what he was doing. 

However, as Dustin Juccon shouted out that he was going to kill her brother, Eva felt that something was completely wrong.

Her heart raced as she tried to gather her thoughts and words. She knew that Dustin was not one to make idle threats, and the fact that he was willing to kill her brother meant that he must have been convinced that he was a threat to their people.
