Eva always found it peculiar how Xylon's demeanor made him seem older than her, despite her being the elder of the two.

 His way of speaking, coupled with his often grumpy personality, made it difficult for her to connect with him. 

She longed to confide in him, to tell him about the horrors she had endured when she left him to return to Havag, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. 

Xylon's cold demeanor seemed impenetrable, like a It was frustrating to know that there was so much she wanted to say, but couldn't find the right words to express herself to him. 

Sometimes she would catch him looking at her with a mix of confusion and curiosity, as if he too wanted to know what was going on inside her head, but didn't know how to ask. 

Despite her desire for connection, she couldn't help but feel that there was an unspoken distance between them, a gap that she couldn't bridge no matter how hard she tried.
