Jake's heart sank, the realization dawning upon him that his father's commitment to his cause ran deeper than he had imagined. The gulf between them seemed insurmountable, their perspectives irreversibly opposed.

"You're wrong," Jake said, his voice laden with sorrow. "Change cannot be built upon a foundation of bloodshed and destruction. There must be another way, a path that upholds justice and preserves life.

"What you and your circle are doing is just fucking destruction!" Jake's voice resonated with a mixture of anger and desperation. His words were laced with a sense of urgency, a plea to make his father understand.

  "The real enemy is not the Prime Circle. The real enemy is the demons that keep getting closer. What you're doing is going to kill all of us in no time!"
