Help me sleep, Eva !

Karl's suggestion resonated with Xylon, who realized the wisdom in checking Eva's place before diving headfirst into any further chaos.

The night had fallen upon them as they stood in the heart of the town.

Xylon, now concealed by a long, dark robe to hide his sand-made leg.

Aware that Xylon's presence might draw unwanted attention, Karl guided them through less crowded side streets, away from the main thoroughfares.

They weaved through the shadows, their footsteps muffled against the cobblestone pavement, striving to remain unnoticed as they approached Eva's dwelling.

Arriving at the small, modest house that Eva had called home, Xylon remembered the last time he had seen his sister here, the sorrow etched on her face as she bid him farewell.

He couldn't help but wonder what had transpired during his absence, what secrets and changes lay hidden behind those doors.
