Amidst the endless reflections of his own form, a wild idea began to take root in Xylon's mind. 

The intricate nature of this hallucination was far from simple; it was a meticulously crafted maze that went beyond mere visual trickery. 

It left him with a disconcerting feeling that not only had his perceptions of time and place been tampered with, but the demon responsible for this ordeal had delved deeper into his psyche, yet not deep enough to unearth the whole truth.

It was as if the demon orchestrating this elaborate charade possessed an uncanny understanding of Xylon's innermost desires and fears.

 It seemed to grasp his yearning to return to his true demon form, the presence of Eva within his thoughts, and the peculiarities of his feelings—or rather, the lack thereof—toward her. 

Yet, this malevolent entity remained oblivious to certain nuances.
