Eating the demons ...

Xylon's smug grin remained as he swiftly parted from Akuna, closing the distance to one of the demon-containing barriers.

His hand came to rest on the ethereal surface, and he began to speak without so much as a glance in her direction, his voice tinged with a sense of authority and conviction.

"I was the first to exist, to do the task of reincarnating demon souls. There were no guides, no instructions—just my own wits and instincts. Through relentless experimentation, I've made remarkable progress. Yes, I am willing to go to extraordinary lengths to achieve my objectives."

Akuna, who had instinctively retreated, struggled to find words to respond. The enormity of what Xylon had just revealed left her in stunned silence.

She began hesitantly, "This is... this..."

But her words trailed off, overwhelmed by the gravity of the revelation.
