Damn Eva

As Xylon and Iclyn opened their eyes the next day, a sense of disorientation washed over them.

As Xylon surveyed their surroundings, his gaze fell upon the familiar borders in the distance, and a surge of anger pulsed through him. With a bitter curse, he spat out words tinged with frustration.

"Damn Eva," he growled, his voice laced with resentment. "Always meddling with my thoughts, especially when I'm trying to focus."

Iclyn, still reeling from the disorientation of their sudden relocation, was perplexed by Xylon's outburst.

She couldn't fathom the source of his anger, nor the mention of someone named Eva. Yet, a wave of relief washed over her as she realized they were no longer stranded in the heart of the desert.

Standing on her feet, Iclyn spoke with a mixture of gratitude and relief. "We're safe now, thanks to you, Xylon," she said, her voice trembling slightly with emotion. "I thought I was going to perish in that desert."
