Xylon couldn't help but find it strange that X was well-versed in the existence of dark magic, particularly considering his human origins.

However, upon reflection, Xylon realized that his surprise was unfounded. After all, X had already demonstrated a profound knowledge of Arthur and all the secrets that Xylon had thought were buried deep within him.

"Listen," X began, his tone laced with a mixture of bitterness and determination. "I know you don't care about Eva. I've seen it all, from the moment you abandoned her to face the council during your rebellious phase, to now, when she's caught up in this mess with the resistance.

I know you don't care about her the way you should. After all, you're not her real brother... I am. So just let me take her with me, and you'll never have to see either of us again."

"Ah, Eva," Xylon uttered with dripping sarcasm.
