Treasure Orb - [ Chapter 28 ]

Hyun Ki then took out his swords and activated his spirit arms as he chugged down a few of the potions and then quickly charged at the huge mimic as he also surrounded it with lightning.

Ji-Ho's hammer on the other hand flew directly at the huge mimic and was about to hit it but then suddenly the water that was flowing from the walls started to quickly flow in front of the mimic.

The water the was in front of the mimic then rose and created a thick wall of water and it's density was so thick that light wasn't even passing through the water and the hammer made a loud thud as it hit the wall.

But it seemed to be blind since it didn't even see that there was electricity in the hammer since as the hammer hit the wall of water, the water droplets were charged with a strong current.

Even with one droplet gave loads of damage to the mimic and so it opened it's mouth and revealed all of it's sharp teeth and huge tongue as it started to screech in pain and so it threw the water away.

Ah-In also had a couple of new skills for leveling up which now she had boosting skills and she boosted both Ji-Ho and Hyun Ki and as the electrified water droplets were still dropping Hyun Ki charged through it.

He used the conduction ability to absorb the electricity inside of the water droplets and all of the water that was thrown away by the mimic and he jumped through them as he absorbed everything.

As he jumped through he upped the amount of electricity in his two swords and then dashed forward pointing the two swords directly at the mimic and stricking through it with insane speed.

When Hyun Ki went through the mimic, there was a trail of lightning that was behind him and the mimic started to screech and scream even more as there was a lot more electricity in Hyun Ki's swords.

After getting hit by Hyun Ki, it released it's huge tongue and started attacking Hyun Ki with it as it used it's saliva to form multiple spears out of it's own saliva but it looked a bit yellow and shiny.

It still flew at them and so Hyun Ki just dodged all of them and Ji-Ho threw his hammer to block all of the spears that were coming at him and Ah-In but as the spears were going near the hammer, it moved.

All of the spears moved as if it was homing at them so all of them were a bit surprised but Hyun Ki just activated his ancient body and then started burning it up so that it would evaporate.

While Ji-Ho didn't have that ability, he was near Ah-In, so as the spears entered her shrine it turned green but it wasn't listening to Ah-In nor it was attacking them so it looked like it was even more powerful than before.

But as Dae-Seong evaporated the saliva, something started to fall out of the smoke and some clinging sounds could be heard as the smoke disappeared they saw it was gold.

They were all surprised but then as they looked closely it was the exact shape of the spear that was created by the mimic and as Hyun Ki saw this he smiled and said, "Keep the boss alive for now.".

Then right after saying that he put away the sword that his spirit arms were holding, then he charged forward again at the boss while the spirit arms were creating boosts for him as he ran.

Once he was now near the mimic, he then jumped up being boosted by the writings from the ancient body while he was in the air, he stopped the arms from writing any more symbols and then jumped onto the mimic.

Now that he was on top of it, he started to use the spirit arms to forcefully open the mimic and slowly but surely it started to open and scream in pain as the spirit arms were also boosted by the ancient writings.

Then Hyun Ki started to reach inside of the mouth of the mimic, as he broke all of the sharp teeth inside of the boss and as he was doing this Ah-In and Ji-Ho were just watching him.

Both of them were a bit terrified at what Hyun Ki was doing to the mimic but they couldn't do anything since before Hyun Ki ran towards the boss, he shouted at them saying, "Don't attack it and don't go near it.".

Which they didn't want Hyun Ki to get mad at them since he was definitely someone really petty which Ji-Ho knows too well and so they were just watching the whole thing as the mimic started to whimper.

Hyun Ki just kept prying the mimic open with his spirit arms and Hyun Ki used the empty bottles inside of his inventory to collect the molten gold inside of it's mouth and it couldn't even fight back.

Since even if it moved a bit, Hyun Ki would hit it with his full force force and so with the advance ai of the mimic, it learned to obediently sit still so that it wouldn't get hit since it could also feel pain.

After a while of Hyun Ki collecting the gold, he realized that he forgot to appraise it and so now he started to appraise the gold and it was actually called "Melted Treasure" which had a special effect.

It improves a person luck permanently like Hyun Ki's talent but it would still be useful if Hyun Ki became even more luckier so he started to collect it like crazy since he only thought he would just sell it.

But he never thought it could work like a potion and if it was just on ingredient, it could definitely be made into a refined potion so that it's effects would be much stronger and it might give other effects as well.

Although he didn't have an infinite amount of it so he was a bit sad but he still continued to collect the molten treasure into his bottles so that he would at least have a nice amount of it before it's gone.

While he was collecting the molten treasure, he then saw a gold orb at the middle of the mimic and so he was curious since it looked the same as the molten treasure but it was already solid unlike the ones around it.

So as he appraised it, he saw it was called "Treasure Orb" which when imbued with life energy or mana, it would release molten treasure and so Hyun Ki smiled as he quickly took it.
