Ancient Alchemist's Staff - [ Chapter - 45 ]

Hyun Ki was surprised but then suddenly as Fenrir was bowing towards him, The Ancient Mage started clapping and said, "I'll not just help you now, I'll teach you everything I know, you've showed me something great.", he said as he snapped his fingers.

When he did that, the space around them started warping and Hyun Ki was confused since he didn't even draw a circle and the Ancient Mage just chuckled a bit as he said, "Well, since I'll be your mentor, you have to know my name, it's Cain.".

Cain then continued and said, "You're probably wondering how I instantly activated a spell, well I am the Ancient Mage no? If all I could do was the same as the previous Ancestors then I wouldn't be in this position right now, I have a special talent.".

Once he said that, they were now suddenly in the middle of a forest and they once again traveled extremely far in just a matter of seconds but then Cain then said as he was looking around, "Like I said, it's a special and learnable talent.".

As he said that he looked at Hyun Ki as he was surprised but he was eager to learn it but then suddenly, Cain then said, "Let's get your original inheritance first, it'll be a lot more better than mine but mine is an add-on so it's a bonus.".

After saying that they then started to walk through the forest and as they were walking suddenly the Pheonix arrived at their location and then started shouting at Cain saying, "Cain?!? Why didn't you bring me along in the circle?!?!".

While he was shouting, he then did a gesture as he silenced the Pheonix and he said, "Bird brains, your too big and emit too much Ancient mana, you're going to use too much of my power.", then it snapped back saying, "Why did you transport Fenrir then?!?".

He then looked at the Pheonix and glared as he said, "It's still in it's pubescent form, it's not even that strong even if it's the same rank as you but I can maybe try and help it grow even faster while I teach this young man, it'll definitely be quite a show.".

Then after a while of walking through a passage that was opened in the forest, there was a tomb inside of a mountain and there was also a staff in the tomb then Cain said as he pointed at it, "That's your inheritance, only the Ancient Alchemist can use it.".

Upon saying this, a huge flow of ancient mana started coming out of the staff and it suddenly started to float in it's place and it then seemed to start looking around and Cain suddenly said, "You're lucky, this artifact has an ego.".

Right as he said this, it then suddenly flew directly towards Hyun Ki and it was about to hit him, it then suddenly stopped directly right in front of Hyun Ki as it then started to speak in a rugged voice and said, "You're my new master, yes?".

This surprised Hyun Ki and he didn't know what to do and so he just grabbed the staff with his hand but as he did this a blue light then started to surge through his arm and suddenly a symbol was now on his arm as it was glowing.

Which then a panel then suddenly appeared as there was a list of different Ancient spells and normal spells that Hyun Ki learned along with their ranks and descriptions and so he then tried appraising the staff and the symbol that appeared on his arm.

It then said that the staff was created by the Ancient Alchemist long ago and it was crafted using many different Transcendent rank materials that a Heavenly blacksmith help create along with the Ancient Alchemist to add powers to the staff.

Ji-Ho would definitely be happy about learning their was another legendary blacksmith figure but he decided to put that on hold for now and read the rest of the description and as he read it and saw that it also had so many effects and boosts.

The staff had five slots to increase the power of five magic skills for Hyun Ki and it passively boosted any and all magic spells and artifacts by 250% that are used and worn by Hyun Ki along with another passive skill called "Re-Usage".

It's a skill that had a 25% chance of giving back 50% of the mana used in any magic spell or artifact and also had a 50% chance to cast another spell or magic attack that Hyun Ki is casting but thanks to his luck talent that was all now at 100%.

So as he read this, he decided to try and test out the five slots and added the spirit arms ability that he had and put it into one of the slots and as he did this the name of the skill and description changed as it was now called "God's Arms".

While adding the spell into the slot, the staff then started to glow a light blue color as symbols then started to appear everywhere on the staff and Hyun Ki then tried out the new upgraded spell and as he did this a huge circle instantly appeared in front of him.

Hyun Ki then suddenly heard a voice and it asked, "How many arms do you wish to summon? The more you summon the higher chance of failure.", Hyun Ki was a bit stunned but decided to try out if his luck talent could even help him summons loads of arms.

Once he decided that he then replied saying, "100 Arms." and as he said this loads of blue lights appeared around him as there were now loads of arms appearing and Hyun Ki's head started to hurt and so Cain then went up to him and flicked his hand.

All of the arms then suddenly disappeared and then he said, "Even if you can summon a million of them without fail, summoning too many of them will overload your brain young man but there are things in this world that may help you but I don't have them.".

As he said this Hyun Ki then stood up and decided to try out what was his limit cause knowing that would definitely help him avoid getting that painstaking headache although it wasn't as painful when he tried absorbing the Ancient Alchemist's jade.

Cain then said as he helped Hyun Ki up, "I suggest you upgrade the spell that you used to summon Fenrir over there, if the spell becomes even more powerful alongside your luck, you might even get a huge army of powerful creatures at your command.".
