Evan's eyes remained riveted to the semi-transparent screen, unwilling to tear his gaze away for even a moment.

Suddenly, the screen flickered to life, and more words materialized before him. The letters appeared to hover weightlessly in the air, almost as if they were alive and calling out to him.

His heart began to race with excitement as he read the new message.

The power was called Voidblade. 

It granted him the ability to imbue his sword with a void-like space for an entire minute. Every attack he would make with this power would instantly cut through anything it came into contact with, even other supernatural abilities.

Of course, as with any great power, there was a catch.

The cost was astronomical - a whopping 500 units of soul energy, regardless of the type. 

However, despite the absurd cost, Evan couldn't help but feel that this new ability was a game-changer.
