RUNNING

CHAPTER 37… RUNNING

In a brightly lit laboratory, a man with black hair, wearing a white lab coat that had stains of chemicals on it was looking through a microscope.

His eyes were trained on the slide beneath that he did not notice Timothy's return to the room. He almost jumped out of his skin when he heard a voice behind him.

"What do we have?" Timothy asked, not minding that he had almost caused a heart attack to the man, he went to sit on a stool.

""You need to work on that attitude, Tim!" The man screamed, clutching his chest. "I almost got a heart attack!"

"But you did not." Timothy replied like it was nothing. "Spill it out, Archie."

The man called Archie sighed and moved back to his microscope.

"The pills, where did you say you got them from?" He asked.

"My wife got them from an infirmary." Timothy replied.

Archie was stunned. He turned around quickly.
