Selena sighed, concluding that she was overthinking things. She was sure that it was just the trauma from the incident in the woods that was haunting her at the moment.

How she wanted to believe that she was overthinking things until she caught sight of a shadow, not too far from where she stood. It looked a man, dressed in a royal blue suit, holding a glass of wine and staring at her.

When they locked eyes, the man raised his wine glass and offered her a smile. Selena returned it with one of her best fake smiles before turning back to where Timothy was talking to some women.

One of the women caught sight if Selena and gasped. She walked to her and took Selena's hands in hers, looking at her like she was some piece of expensive art.
