A man, dressed in what looked like a security man's attire opened the door. He was tall and huge, almost like a bouncer, and for a moment, Selena was intimidated to turn around and return to the car.

But, that feeling did not last because as soon as the man spoke, her first impression of his shattered like a piece of fragile glass. The man had a very thin voice that stood a far distance from his size. It took all her willpower to not laugh.

"What do you want?" The man asked.

Selena coughed lightly, hiding her laughter as she said, "I'm here to see Jessica Barlow."

"And who are you?" The man asked again.

"Her granddaughter." Selena replied and added underneath her breath, "If she even remembers that I exist."

The man looked her over for a while before asking her to wait. He pulled out a phone and dialed a string of numbers.
