"I am the leader of a group, something like a mafia group, but, an anti-mafia group that fights against injustice," Timothy finally confessed. "We go after those who exploit others and commit heinous crimes."

Selena sat up straight, looking at Timothy with wide eyes. She could not believe what she was hearing. It was like something out of a movie.

"Why did you you tell me before?" She asked, her tone slightly angry. "You could have put me in danger! Not just me, Bella too!"

"I know, I know," Timothy replied apologetically. "But I had to be sure that you were ready to handle this part of my life. Plus, there are people, a certain agency, that might be against me and could use you against me at any given time."

He was right, Selena thought. If anyone got wind of her connection with Timothy, she could become a target as well.
