CHAPTER 117... SOLITUDE 

After dinner, Mr. Langley spoke to her, explaining how his wife never stopped talking about a child she left at the orphanage twenty-six years ago. He even confessed that he was starting to believe that she was only hallucinating but today, he had been proved wrong.

While Greta and Mrs. Langley walked her back to the bedroom, Richard leaned at the door frame of his room, just next to Megan's, watching them while tossing a Rubik's cube in the air.

Two Weeks Later...

Back in the city, Timothy and Debbie were having lunch in the office when Tom walked in with a very long face and set next to his mother, nestling his head in the crook of her neck.

"Tom, dear," Debbie called, touching his face. "Why do you look so down? What happened?"

"Nothing, mum," Tom replied, forcing a smile on his face. "I am okay, mother."

"I doubt you are," Timothy stated without even looking up. "Something wrong?"
