A Terrible Death

It was the same village chief who kicked him. Since the door was closed, no one could see what was going on inside. Everyone thought that the chief was taking care of his young brother-in-law, but behind the doors, the young man was kicked and abused.

When the man had enough of kicking the young man, he stood there, towering above him, staring at the latter with a cold gaze. He seemed to be staring at a dead man through his eyes. He turned toward the lantern and his expression turned even colder.

"You really won't agree, I see. You'd rather sell lanterns made of clothes than become my servant?"

The young man said nothing and just blankly stared at him. The middle-aged man was so angry that he laughed and grabbed the young man by his hair, earning a hiss. "Alright. I'll show you how you make a lantern!"

The young man finally showed a terrified expression on his face as he struggled at his best. He shook his head rapidly, saying, "Don't!"
