Raymond's pupils were dilated, and his nerves were tense. Should the beast be the ants, then they could warn the queen of their arrival and that would be catastrophic. And for Angel to report it with a serious tone, then it meant there weren't normal beasts.

Raymond wasn't the only one with such thoughts, for the others were also tense. 20 subconsciously gripped her rifle tighter and stared at the distance. "Cockroaches" Angel's words, along with her amused tone, were like pouring a bucket of ice water on them.

"Then we need to be-, wait what?!" 7 hollered as Angel's words just sank in, his voice echoed causing him to cough in embarrassment. He had been prepared to face a deadly species and was thinking about changing his ammo, but the moment Angel's words sank in, all those thoughts vanished.
