After a good discussion with a mild entrance of flirting, Angel broke the news about her granddad, and her fears were felt by Derek, who got annoyed. He didn't know why, but his emotion became a raging sea.

While he had not been getting the deep parts, minor parts were slowly melding with Derek and slowly changing him, his views had begun to deviate and so did his standing on the topic, though he couldn't quite get it, Derek had already accepted that he wasn't from Earth and the pain he felt from that world had been erased for they weren't his real parents and unlike this ones on Xon, they never cared for him.
