A name too early

A thick invisible wall kept this peace and truth, but for how long? What would be Derek's choice at that point?

The mild pain that came from his right thigh made Derek almost hiss. 'One month! Even after such a long time, I'm still incapacitated,' Derek grumbled internally.

The memory of when he sustained a worse injury but healed in just a few minutes resurfaced, causing him to grimace. It bugged him so badly that he could only heal super fast in his silver state.

The gulf between both healing speeds would send anyone into a stupor.

The wound he suffered back then was much bigger than this, but while he got only one deep leg wound, Derek didn't doubt that what took him a month to heal normally would cover up in mere minutes.

"Where's Gavin?" he queried, facing Daniel who had climbed a couch. The kid yawned, exposing his tiny fangs.

"He went to the Zitro station," Daniel replied and turned to the holo screen displaying a horror movie.
