He booked a ride back to Halcyon, and after two hours; the monorail stopped. He silently made his way out of the terminal.

However, his entry to a taxi was denied as someone who, for some reason, he couldn't contact for close to two months called.

He stared at his smartwatch for a while and swiped. A hologram came out and a white-haired beauty with piercing ruby pupils appeared.

The brilliant smile on her plump lips seemed to brighten his mind. Clad in a white hoodie and a similar colored face cap, the refreshing air around her threw his mood into the sky.

"I'd bet you didn't expect me." Her enchanting voice rang, and a sweet smile graced her lips. Her eyes twinkled like the stars as they glowed with erupting emotions.

While Derek couldn't get enough of her elegant looks, the background caught his attention. It looked familiar.
