Four doctors ran scans and monitored Derek's vitals. The fourth doctor, known as Gideon, stared at the floating Derek with squinted eyes.

He couldn't understand the being he did research on. How were they supposed to treat alien sickness?

The higher-ups, especially the new director, wanted to keep this man a secret, so they would either be silenced or kept under constant watch.

They had no idea Derek didn't land through any spaceship or whatnot. The technology of his home world had reached such an advanced stage that it gave him the ability to reincarnate.

He would first use the body of the native species, then revert back to his primary form. This was to avoid the infant being killed, and as an adult, he could defend himself.
