"Derek, what happened to your head?!" William almost screamed as the sight was alarming.

His actions made Derek arch his brows as he felt confused and his premonition that something happened to his head became stronger when Jake strode toward him and stared at his head.

"Oh, my god. What did you do?" For the first time, Derek could sense fear in Jake's tone, as the man couldn't understand the sight before him.

"Nothing. It's on the screen. You can check it out." Derek pointed to the holovision at the wall and both men turned.

William walked closer to the screen and watched Derek's explosive comeback.  The unnatural silver energy moving around the mech, the increased speed, the notable increase in lethal attacks.

As he watched the daggers move back to the mech's arms and the silver energy moving through any weapon the mech touched, William's eyes got wider.
