A few hours later, Angel, still in the white attire, sat on a chair close to the unconscious Kira who lay on a hospital bed with different machines around her.

Angel did not know how, but Kyle escaped, and the rest were captured. Some confessed on the spot, a few killed themselves and the rest of the staff were being interrogated by the guardsmen.

Daniel had left the hospital searching for Kyle, as the kid couldn't control his fury.

Gideon approached Angel and halted a meter away from her. "She's okay ma'am. Her healing is shocking and I think it's also a hidden part of her powers. She just needs a little rest, that's all."

Two minutes after he finished his report, Angel's head was still lowered and her feet tapped the ground repeatedly.

"Ma'am. Ms. Kira will be fine!" Gideon said in a louder tone and Angel raised her head. Her expression made him retreat, as this wasn't the confident and calm director he knew.
