Derek's scoff riled her up. Her eyes turned blood red, and she dug her nails into his flesh, only to pause as the thought of hurting him almost drove her crazy.

"Let me remind you. I am not Derek, but your opponent!" Derek's voice drilled into her head and he flung her into the air, waved his arms and she slammed the wall, groaning in pain.

"You won't survive a three-tail like this. They're manipulative, strong, fast, and have the advantage of numbers in both air, sea, and land. It's impossible to survive a horde like this. Nightmares! These nightmares you fear are just growing kids!"

Derek's voice boomed, shocking Luke, Roland, and Jasmine, but Christopher and Ming Yue weren't too shocked.

"My father started training me when I was 7 and I guess it's one of the reasons I'm still alive. Now fight me like I am your enemy!"

The energy packed in his voice shook the eardrums of everyone in the hall.
