Commemorating A Heroine's Death

Raindrops splattered across the glass encased coffin where Lady Clara's body laid. As though the skies mourned a soul that had made the right choice in the final moments of her life. Her coffin bore the national flag of Rubicund and King Hans insisted that she be buried with it because she had died a hero, protecting his unborn child. Her family members were the closest to the coffin, they laid their hands on top of her coffin and said their last goodbyes before it was lowered into the ground and covered with earth. A stone slab engraved with her name, status and her sacrifice in protecting a Rubicund heir were written. She would go down in history as a heroine with her nobility intact both in status and in morality.
