Hideout

News networks around the golden blazing city were all broadcasting a gore sight that sent chills down everyone's spine.

One or the news presenter, Lady Sugar fainted after watching one of the scenes herself.

The scene was frightening and discouraging, and it sent shivers down the viewers' spines.

The populace were torn between sadness and dread.

Rage and despair ran through the veins of the superheroes and those with a righteous spirit.

Those who had a different perspective on the world thrilled at the sight.

It featured a fight between a team of superheroes and a masked man with red hair tied in ponytails.

His killing style was so dangerous that he tore the majority of his victims apart with his bare hands and even injected a wisp of dark purple energy into their bodies, causing accelerated aging until all of their gene points and live force were entirely gone.

The majority of the heroes are trainees and prospective superheroes with abilities who are ready to grow up and become a powerful force of justice.

But their hopes were cut short by a cruel twist of fate.

The TV blurred and a fresh scene of zombified individuals consuming human flesh across a broad region was shown, as well as hazy footage of a white haired man wearing a lab coat.

His face was not hidden from the camera, but no one could see it since it was blurred.

A number of scenes were put out into the world, and each time there was always a notice that parental counsel was required, or that it was exclusively for 18+ viewers.

Ethan was sprinting as quickly as he could towards the hideout.

He checked his phone and noticed a fresh message from Demon Ape; after reading it, he quickened his pace.

He passed through the busy places and even the lonely path, he killed and suck the blood of those who tried to question his identity including a team of ordinary policemen he met on his way.

'Why are all of these things happening right now? Did the hero society track down the villains who left the hideout? War is fantastic, but not right now!' In his head, Ethan yelled.

On his trip through the lonely trails, he came upon a tent on the road with images of a couple inside making love to one other.

They appear to have been on a romantic date, but their timing couldn't have been worse; there's no way he'd let them live in this circumstance.

Fortunately, they were ordinary people with no special abilities other than the ability to accept love and make silly decisions based on the concept of love.

He crept through the tent, carefully covering every exit and entry without disclosing his presence.

Then he took a lighted log from the bonfire outside the tent, spread the flame around the tent, and went.

"Honey, it's hot.." a female voice leaked through the tent.

"Don't worry, babe, I'll make sure it doesn't hurt anymore." The husky voice of a man answered her.

"No, babe, the tent is burning!!"

"What?"

"We're trapped inside! Somebody help, somebody help!" They began to scream for aid, but they were in the middle of nowhere with no houses nearby.

Ethan was soon only a few meters away from the hideout.

He stopped and cautiously made his way toward the bushy area and then he started making his way towards the hideout through the bushy path to hide his presence.

After walking for several minutes, he finally reached the hideout.

Behold, a fleet of cop cars was all around the place.

He counted them and there was seventeen of them there.

He hid in a more concealed path, he unlocked his Generoid and scrolled toward the chat app and clicked on Milky's number.

He sent a message and a reply arrived almost immediately.

⟨⟨Kill all of them, you are the only one around that area. The generals would reward you handsomely, just try your best to stay alive.⟩⟩

Ethan kept his Generoid inside his pocket.

He created a strand of thick energy and formed a hook at the tip of it.

The policeman spread among the surrounding of the hideout, some of them tried to break into the facility.

Ethan eyes moved through the surrounding and then he slowly left his hiding place.

Two policeman stood faraway from the building, discussing.

"There is a large wave of energy coming from this place, our energy map can never be false.."

The other policeman nodded his head without looking at his buddy.

"This can't be the hideout of a small villain group, it must either belong to the DeathRoad or the Chaos group" He heard a grunt from the officer he was conversing with and turned his head to take a look at him.

But to his greatest surprise he was no longer there and there was a trail of blood left on the spot he was standing.

The officer quickly placed his hand on his gun. But he felt another hand on top of his.

"I don't think you should take that out now." Ethan spoke coldly before sending the hook through his stomach.

The officer eyes widened, his voice was lost and life was slowly sipping out of his body.

He fell lifelessly to the ground after exactly seven seconds have passed.

Ethan crawled toward one of the vehicles and hid at back of it.

"There should be about 60 of them here, I can take them on as long as there is none with abilities." Ethan muttered to himself.

An officer was returning after taking a pee, his hands was on his belt as he whistled happily with his mouth.

However he heard a whoosh sound and was too late to respond before his vision turned blurry, then dark.

Ethan tried creating another blood strand with hook but he couldn't, each time he tried to create another one he would only end up destroying the one he has already created.

'I have a little less than 6 gene points now, one gene point is consumed for each strand of blood thread I create and for now they can now only last for a maximum of thirty minutes, I can manage.'
