There is no limit to Draco's wealth

There was a sleek Mercedes Benz waiting for Amber when she stepped out from the duplex. The vintage shirt and ripped jean suited her perfectly, and with her hair wild over her shoulders, one wouldn't think she was just a mere teenager.

Arty was already awaiting her and he opened the door for her to step inside.

Amber watched him move around the car and enter the driver's seat. The Benz purred to life, and as he maneuvered around the water fountain, her eyes moved towards the magnificent duplex.

She suddenly sat up when she caught a glimpse of someone from the top floor. Before she could make out the person, the car went through the large silver gates and into the street.

Amber sat back with a frown, wondering who could have been in that room. The person looked like Draco, but Arty said Draco had already gone out. So who could it be? One of the guards?

Shaking the thought from her head, she crossed her legs and watched the houses turn to a blur as the car picked up speed.

...

They got to the city mall under fifteen minutes and Arty slowed down into a private parking slot. The mall was already packed full, even as it was still morning.

Amber pressed her face to the window, staring at the magnificent buildings that were lined side by side. She had never been to this mall and now that she was here, it still felt like a dream to her.

"Here",Arty said and handed a black card to her.

Amber's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. That card was an elite card, owned by very few of the multi billionaires in Rockville City. Not even a multi millionaire had it.

And here it was in her shaky hands.

"There is a woman waiting for you inside",Arty instructed. "You don't have to look for her because she knows you. She will help you in your shopping"

Amber gulped, turning the card over in her hand. "How... how much am I expected to spend?",she stammered.

"The Master didn't set a limit, because it is you",Arty said. "Shop as much as you want. Remember the Master has fine taste. Those are his orders"

Afterwards, Amber got down and slowly walked towards the large open doors of the mall. Halfway she turned and stared at the car. Arty seemed to notice her nervousness and he gave her a thumb up sign.

Giving him one back, she continued up to the doors and disappeared into the building.

Arty watched her step into the mall and he brought out an ipad from his pocket. There was a message waiting form a contact saved as D.Lord Birmingham.

'Where is she?',the text read.

Arty typed a reply, his thumbs moving swiftly over the keypad.

'At the mall Master'

'Keep an eye on her', a reply came back shortly.

Arty remained inside the car while he kept tabs on everyone that went into the mall, and everyone that came out.

...

Amber felt like a princess in a castle. She gaped at the array of designs and accessories all around her. She didn't even know where to start shopping.

Large flat screen TV were placed all around the mall, and her legs tapped to the beat of the songs that blasted out of the speakers.

"Hello Mrs Birmingham",a female voice greeted behind her.

Amber whirled around and stared at the woman who was bowing before her. She looked elderly, would probably be in her late forties. Her auburn hair already had streaks of gray and her eyes were wise and kind.

"Hello",Amber mumbled.

"I am Wendy Chow, and I will be helping you for your shopping today",the woman said and smiled in a friendly manner.

"Hello Wendy, please call me Amber",Amber said and stretched her hand for a handshake. The title of Mrs Birmingham didn't sit well with her.

When Wendy's hands closed over hers, she was astonished at the coldness of it. It reminded her of Draco's hands. How could someone be so cold even in the warmest weather?

She slowly released Wendy's hand and watched as the woman walked passed her.

"Come on, we must begin",she said enthusiastically. "The Master wants you home before noon remember"

Two hours went past and when Wendy stared at the shopping bags around Amber, she shook her head.

"It is not enough",she said and turned back to the rows and rows of designer clothes and shoes, jewelries and bags and accessories. "We need more than this"

"But Wendy",Amber protested. "I don't think I'll be able to wear all this clothes for the next two years. And what if I get bigger than this?"

"Then we will just come back and do more shopping",Wendy chuckled cheerfully. "Do not worry dear, Master Birmingham has all the money in the world. And he's ready to spend on you"

Amber blew out an exasperated breath. She couldn't persuade the woman to stop. She was clearly following Draco's orders.

As she waited for Wendy to return, a news channel came on the TV. Amber turned and stared at the picture of a young girl that was displayed in the front.

"...this young woman by the name, Michelle Katrina Jones has been missing for a week now. If you have any idea of where the young woman might be, please call the SOS line..."

The reporter called out a series of numbers and the numbers were displayed on the screen.

Amber stared at the brown haired woman on the screen. She was pretty, with porcelain skin and bright eyes.

"She probably eloped with her boyfriend", Amber muttered and looked away when another news came on.

From where Wendy was getting more clothes for Amber, she looked up at the TV screen with an indifferent expression. She didn't show the slightest hint of pity for the young woman who was declared missing for a weak now. Her eyes lowered and rested on Amber.

Draco didn't agree to marry the girl because he suddenly needed a wife. No. Draco could get any woman he wanted. It was because there was something about Amber. Wendy could feel it, and she knew Draco also felt it.

Unaware of the curious look Wendy was throwing at her, another news came on the TV and Amber almost choked on her saliva.

It was Draco, at that Club Casino. Someone had taken a picture of him holding a girl in his arms as he marched through the dancefloor.

Although the girl's face was hidden, Amber knew instantly that she was the one in Draco's arms. She listened to the voice of the reporter.

"...no one has ever seen young and dashing billionaire, Draco Birmingham, hold a lady so close to him. The rumours are already going round that this could be the lucky woman in Draco's life..."

"Alright let's go",Wendy said, suddenly appearing beside Amber. She looked up at the TV and wrinkled her nose. "Don't listen to those reporters. Master Draco had chosen you to be his wife. Those other women don't matter anymore",she said cheerfully and dragged half of the bags towards the counter.

Amber dragged the other half and followed her, all the while thinking that Wendy didn't know she was the one in Draco's arms. She thought it was some other woman.

They arrived at the counter and Amber brought out the black card Arty had given to her that morning.

The blonde petite woman at the counter stared at Amber in surprise as she collected the black card. Everyone knew that card belonged to wealthy billionaires, and it was a rare card. To see someone as young as Amber holding it roused her suspicion and curiousity.

"Excuse me miss",the blonde said. "Please where did you get this card?",she asked curiously.

Before Amber could think of an answer, Wendy snapped at the young woman whose name tag read Charley.

"Is this how you treat every of your customers? I will not hesitate to report this to the manager of this complex!"

"Oh I'm sorry ma'am",Charley apologized profusely and proceeded to box their goods and print out a receipt. With the way Wendy addressed her, she knew that they must be from a wealthy family.

Amber tried to hide her laughter as the blonde woman became flustered. She exchanged a playful grin with Wendy as they waited for their shopping bags to be boxed.

Suddenly she heard someone scream out her name from behind her.

She spun around and came face to face with three familiar people. Nessa and Jade, whom she met that night at the club.

And Derrick who tried to molest her.
