"You want us to jump into a volcano?"
"Well, not exactly, and not immediately."
Nakisa still had the same grin on his face, like he was expecting something. Ezra wasn't sure, and figured it would be easier to wait and see than to ask about it.
After five minutes, Ezra spotted something he would have never believed if he was just told as a story. The volcano actually started to fill up fast, with water.
It was amazing. Ezra couldn't understand it. Was it connected with the ocean in some kind of way with a hole at the bottom? Or was the island sinking after their little performance from earlier?
There were no signs that the island was sinking though.
When the water had almost reached the top of the volcano, Nakisa signalled for them to jump. He was the first to jump in, and only after Ezra had verified that there was no problem did he follow. He wasn't afraid of an attack, instead, he just didn't like underwater struggles.
